On Thursday 23rd May the Legal Action Group will display copies of their books and magazines in one of the meeting rooms in the National Pro Bono Centre and are inviting anyone who wants to pop in and browse to do exactly that. They would like to talk to organisations about what they order and discuss pricing and online access. But if anyone just wants to browse that is fine!
If you or any of your colleagues would like to pop in please do. They will be around from 12.00-5.30. It may be useful for some of the barristers to pop in and look at recent books e.g. the Youth Justice Handbook, Criminal Costs and Housing Conditions: tenants’ rights. If several barristers are interested in the Legal Action magazine they may be able to sort out a good package i.e. cheaper than individual subscriptions. They could also discuss online access.
