Person Specification

Suitable candidates will have a significant track record working in a similarly reputable Barristers’ Chambers (7+ years), together with a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of managing the practices of barristers in commercial areas of law. You will also have knowledge of the compliance and regulatory aspects relevant to working in a Barristers’ Chambers. This client-facing role requires an understanding and previous experience in marketing and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver proactive and efficient diary and practice management support to a designated group of Members.
  • Manage fees, provide estimates, negotiate where appropriate, and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong client relationships, represent Chambers at events, and support marketing and practice group activities.
  • Conduct practice review meetings, monitor performance data and market trends, and identify opportunities for development.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Chambers’ practice areas.
