We are now recruiting for a Marketing and Business Development Assistant to work 4 days a week. This is a new role, in which the successful applicant will work closely with the soon to be appointed Head of Marketing and Business Development and offering the opportunity to learn and develop in a friendly, supportive and inclusive environment.

Person Specification
- Education to degree level or equivalent.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (short-listed candidates will be asked to do a written test and make a short presentation).
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude.
- Enthusiasm for managing projects and associated administrative tasks.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- (Ideally) some experience of running events.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging social media content, e alerts and event communications.
- Maintain an excellent understanding of Chambers’ markets and work channels.
- Assist with and support the generation of web content.
- Design and produce brand.
- Run webinars and support the lifecycle of in-person events.
- Play an active role in the legal directory process.
- Carry out research projects, generate reports and collate data.
- Maintain and develop marketing lists and ensure that these are GDPR compliant.

Professional Qualifications
At least one year’s experience of working in a marketing, events or communications role in a professional services firm (barristers’ chambers, law firm, tax/accountancy firm), other professional organisation or membership body.
