Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have 1 - 2 years’ experience working in a finance department with credit control experience, either within Chambers, a Law Firm or similar environment. They will have excellent communication skills and ability to work with colleagues, Barristers and Clients.They will have excellent numerical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing incoming payments throughout the day. Identifying and Accurately allocating to the correct case. Ensuring correct TAX/VAT status (LEX)
  • Producing and store remits for payments with daily transfer sheet/bank statements/receipts
  • Producing various financial reports
  • Assisting with chasing outstanding debtors with an organised approach adhering to Chambers’ fee chasing terms and conditions
  • Providing general assistance with any other fee related tasks and projects as required. In addition to the duties outlined above there maybe any other ad hoc tasks
