• Ensuring that members and clients have a first class experience by providing an organised, professional front of house service.
• Ensuring that the conference floor and waiting room are organised and serviced to the highest standard.
• Providing ad-hoc administration support to other departments

Person Specification

  • A calm and professional attitude with excellent presentation.
  • An eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Diplomacy, ability to work under pressure and keenness to be helpful to clients, members and colleagues.
  • Ability to work as a team-member and willingness to assist others where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staffing reception, greeting visitors and members.
  • Monitoring visitors and third parties in and our of chambers.
  • Assisting visitors and members with queries.
  • Setting up and servicing conferencing rooms - teas, coffees, lunches.
  • Keeping client areas tidy.
  • Maintaining and replenishing stocks.
  • Distributing supplies.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc admin duties.
  • Assisting with preparation of in-house functions and events and ushering.
  • Library maintenance.

Professional Qualifications

  • Essential:
  • Excellent reception, email and telephone manners to be as helpful and efficient as possible.
  • Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Desirable:
  • LEX diary system.
  • Experience in a professional legal environment or similar.
