Our client is one of the largest Barristers’ Chambers in the South West, providing advisory and advocacy services to a nationwide client base. Following the planned retirement of its current Chief Executive, Chambers now seeks to appoint a highly suitable individual to its most senior staff leadership role as Chief Executive. The Chief Executive is responsible for the formulation and delivery of the agreed business and professional objectives of Chambers and its Members. They will build on Chambers’ successes and create the plan and vision to move it in to the future.
The Chief Executive is also responsible for the provision of business services to Members of Chambers and their clients through the effective management of Chambers’ finances, the creation and implementation of business development and marketing strategies and initiatives. They are responsible for the effective leadership and development of Chambers’ practice management, finance and administrative teams.
Suitable individuals will already possess a significant record of leadership and delivery in a legal, professional services or similarly demanding environment. They will be proficient in all areas of business finance including detailed reporting and presentation of information. It is vital that they are an outstanding communicator capable of tact, diplomacy and quickly building professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
