Matrix is seeking to recruit a Billing Co-Ordinator. Ideally, we are looking for someone three days per week, however, we would consider an alternative number of days for the right candidate.

Person Specification
- The successful candidate will ideally have experience of billing legal fees in a range of areas of law in a fast-paced environment. Organisational and time management skills are essential, as well as an ability to cope well under pressure. The appointed person will be highly numerate and have excellent attention to detail.
- There will be training opportunities for the right candidate if not already familiar with the processes in a barrister organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Entering detail of work done onto LEX, submitting claim forms, producing fee notes and invoices
- Dealing with queries on fees from members and solicitors
- Billing complex and sometime high-profile cases
- Ensuring cases with complicated billing is done in the most efficient manner
- Providing excellent customer service
- Being proactive and making sure best billing practices and systems are being used
