About this Job

The role is varied and hands on. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for many of Chambers’ clients, support the clerks, administrative staff, and barristers and help deliver Chambers’ marketing and events programme. This role presents opportunities for growth and development, and you will be able to take on further marketing and junior clerking responsibilities in time. Training will be provided.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will be friendly, professional and confident when dealing with clients and barristers. They will be organised and reliable, able to manage multiple tasks and willing to support colleagues wherever needed within a small team. The role would suit someone eager to learn new skills and take on responsibility, with experience using software such as MS 365, Teams and Zoom, and an interest in developing administrative, events and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update Chambers’ LinkedIn and other social media channels
  • Assist in organising and running Chambers’ online and in person client events, including promoting events via email and social media, liaising with Chambers’ graphic designer to produce marketing materials, attending in person events, organise and collate Chambers’ annual legal directory submissions and ensure Chambers’ website content is accurate and up to date.
  • Provide day to day assistance to the Senior Clerk and other members of staff and barristers
  • Assist the clerks with preparing PDF court bundles
