Responsible To: Chambers Administrator & Accounts Manager
Purpose of Post: To maintain efficiently and effectively the financial, management of accounts systems to provide accurate and timely information to the senior management and Directors on a regular basis.
40 hours per week (8hrs day not including lunch) Monday to Friday with core hours being between 8am-6pm
25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
Hybrid working: 3 days required in chambers, these days are flexible and to be agreed.

Key Responsibilities
- Accounting including maintaining bank reconciliations on Sage Line 50 for all bank accounts, posting nominal ledger journals, ensure that all day-to-day transactions are input and recorded accurately in Sage, running reports as required, including budget reports, assisting accounts team with year end.
- Purchase Ledger including inputting all supplier invoices on a daily basis.
- Sales Ledger management
- Credit Cards including maintaining monthly reconciliations
- Monitoring Fees Account
- VAT management
Professional Qualifications
- Microsoft Office – with Excel and Outlook knowledge essential.
- Sage Line 50 – proven working knowledge essential.
- Previous accounts experience essential
- Previous Chambers experience desired
