Melissa Davis, CEO and Founder

Melissa set up MD Communications in 2010, a global reputation agency that supports clients to challenge the status quo when it comes to the how and why of communicating critical messages. She is one of the best-known personalities in the professional services sector with a proven track record of delivering high-level brand and PR strategies for over 24 years in political, legal and commercial environments, with 18 years of that being within the legal sector.

Hayley Duggan, Head of Business Development and Marketing, Wilberforce Chambers

Hayley joined Wilberforce in 2018, having previously spent seven years at The Legal 500, where she was the UK Bar and Asia Pacific Editor. Her current role is to oversee Chambers’ business development and marketing activities; including working closely with the Practice Director and clerking team on strategy issues, as well as managing events and internal/external communications with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Assistant. She recently completed a CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing and is currently shortlisted for BD/Relationship Manager of the Year as part of CityWealth’s Brand Management & Reputation Awards. She is a co-founder of the Marketing in Chambers Group (MICG).

Kate Horne, Founder, Lacewing Media

Kate started her career in business development in the City of London. This led to an understanding that without a great marketing strategy, brand visibility and client engagement can fall short. Kate’s skill set is to deliver realistic and effective marketing strategies to professional services clients. Kate and her team engage clients to add value, bringing new ideas, initiatives and innovation that provide purposeful marketing endeavours. Aware of the trust that her clients place in Lacewing to represent their business, Kate’s ability to build relationships, encourage engagement and create loyalty mean her clients build long term, successful relationships helping scale business and brand.
