Dear LPMA Member,
Members of our Executive Committee represent the LPMA on various Bar Council Committees. Jemma Tagg is the representative on the EDSM Committee and is currently working with a panel of committee members to assist the Bar Council in developing their social mobility strategy. The initiative is in the early stages, but as a starting point the panel are keen to understand the extent of activities to promote social mobility that are being undertaken by the various stakeholders across the Bar. This will be vital data that will help with forming the strategy, with the ultimate aim of improving collaboration and providing sets of chambers with guidance so that there can be genuine impact in this pivotal area of diversity.
The efforts by sets of chambers in this area are significant and in order to capture a comprehensive picture of all the work that is currently being undertaken, the EDSM Committee have asked that we issue this survey to LPMA members. We would be very grateful if you could spare a few minutes to complete the survey by Tuesday 8 March.
