Our client is a successful law firm delivering cutting edge legal services to individuals and businesses. Following two successful periods, the current Chief Executive will retire at the end of 2019 and our client is now seeking its next Chief Executive to lead this prominent firm through transformative change.  Key responsibilities include:   

  • Defining and implementing the strategic vision and direction of the Firm as set out in the current Three-Year Firm Plan through collaborative and strong leadership and preparing the next Firm Plan
  • Leading the creation and delivery of strategies capable of securing new business and further work from existing clients
  • Repositioning the business through innovation improved messaging and communication.
  • Leading continuous development and improvement of the organisation and those working within it.
  • Ensuring the Firm is best placed to exceed challenges and opportunities in an evolving legal service market.

Our client requires an individual capable of leading and developing a successful legal business whilst also acknowledging the firms principled approach to the work it does. Suitable individuals will possess a record of delivery at a senior level in a professional services or similarly challenging environment. They will possess demonstrable strategic and business development skills, allied to excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  The ability to lead and develop effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders is vital.   

An attractive remuneration package is offered, commensurate with the seniority of the role, including the potential to provide flexible working hours.
