Blackstone Chambers is a leading set of barristers’ chambers, operating in the civil law arena with 107 barrister members and 33 staff members.
Applications are sought for the role of finance/fees assistant to assist the Finance Manager and Fees Clerk at Blackstone Chambers. The role is varied and the successful candidate will work closely with both of them, providing full support in all areas of the finance and fees operation in Chambers. Previous experience of working in a similar role in a barristers’ chambers is a prerequisite.
The successful candidate will be approachable, well presented and have very good communication and organisational skills. The role would suit an individual keen to work in the finance team of a large barristers’ practice and ideally suit an individual with a strong financial or mathematical background and with previous experience of the fees and (if possible, but not mandatory) accounting aspects of a busy and challenging barristers’ chambers. A willingness to learn is essential.
